Atelier Roquette is the creative studio of Leisah Swenson and Monica Byrne.
Together we bring backgrounds in food, flowers, design, event production, stage management, fine art and construction.
Our magic is in bringing together all the right elements, and setting the stage so that special beautiful moments can occur.
We take an organic approach to most of our events, and handle most of the details ourselves in house, so it all comes together seamlessly.
We host events at our Farmette, our small flower farm in Germantown, just south of Hudson, NY, and our cafe Home/Made Hudson, in Hudson NY. We also work off premises at a variety of events spaces, local, and far flung.
Weddings are our primary focus. Being part of these celebrations is a gift, and we really treasure each story, each new family, each new adventure.
We are nothing if not untraditional, we welcome clients who hope to do things a little differently, who want to chart their own course, and create extraordinary celebrations with abundant, food and wine in beautiful settings, whether a field, a barn, a warehouse……
Benefits and Non Profit work is our other passion. We strongly believe the revolution will be catered! All of our for profit work each year allows us to give back to our community and the organizations whose work makes such a difference. In hosting events for causes we care about, we hope to offer not only sustenance for the body but also for the soul. We proudly have hosted events small and large alike for many organizations, including: Planned Parenthood, The Trevor Project, Emerge!, Everytown / Moms Demand Action, Anti Violence Project, Red Hook Initiative, ReStore Red Hook, Falconworks, Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition, CORA Dance, Extreme Kids and Crew, Camp Shomria, Hudson Business Coalition, Perfect 10 and others.
